The Bathroom

A bathroom in a Victorian school conversion in SE1, London, has been transformed into beautiful space with an internal Crittal window looking onto the bedroom.

The space was completely stripped back; a step up from the bedroom creates space to house all the drainage allowing a spacious open plan feel to the new bathroom.

White tiles clad the shower area with an oversized shower tray, while the floor is finished in a fine topping screed creating a polished concrete finish.

An exisitng Victorian cistern has been reused and an ornate Victorian replica radiator has been installed with brass valves. The free-standing bath is positioned by the window to make the most of the view and received a custom paint finish.

This is in fact Julia's own apartment, as featured in ES Homes&Property January 2012. See the full article here.
